4-5 year olds.
Focus is on
developing eye-hand coordination, movement skills, and fun. Program will be
held at Pine Log Park.
Dates:
Mondays 3:30 -4:00 pm Cost: $5.00/player/day
CONYERS-ROCKDALE RALLEYBALL I LEAGUE
Team tennis for beginner players ages 6-12.
Teams consist
of 6-8 players, practice one day per week, and play a match on Friday. All
practices and matches are held at PineLog Park or Johnson Park. Dates:
August 15-September 30 Cost: $75/player
Practice 1x/week - Monday – Thursday 4:00 or 5:00 pm
Matches Fridays @ 5:00 pm
CONYERS-ROCKDALE RALLEYBALL II LEAGUE
Instructional
League Play – Prepares kids ages 9-14 for junior league play. Player must
be able to sustain a 2 shot rally that consists of a serve and return.
Player has had some tennis training but still needs general training on the
basic strokes and match play. Round robin matches will be played on Friday.
Dates:
October 10- November 18 Cost: $75/player
Practice 1x/week – Monday or Wednesday 4:00 or 5:00 pm
JUNIOR
DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM
Advanced
tennis training for high intermediate/advanced players. Players will
develop skills necessary to compete at a high level of play. The player
must possess topspin shots off of both sides and a consistent 1st and 2nd
serve. A new student must have an evaluation to enter this level.
Dates: Monday,
Tuesday, and Thursday 4:30pm-6:00pm Cost: $15/day
USTA JUNIOR TEAM TENNIS LEAGUE - sponsored by USTA / PATA
Team Tennis for kids ages 9-14. Player must be able to maintain a 4 shot
rally at a moderate pace and have a good knowledge of match play. Player
still needs to refine strokes to advance to the next level. Practice begins
October 11 (Tuesday or Thursday 4:00 or 5:00 pm). Match play begins Friday,
October 14, 5:00 pm.
