 USTA MEN'S LEAGUE
 

------Get Your Team Practiced and Ready for ALTA ------

Do you want to meet new people, stay fit, play the game of a lifetime, improve those tennis skills and/ or just have the time of your life? Then join in the fun with USA League tennis! We offer programs for the beginner player up through and including the professional level player.

Georgia involves over 50,000 adults age 19 and up in USA League Tennis. This league features progression to State championships, Section championships and then onto National championships.
Please contact your local coordinator (listed on the PATA web under Contacts) and get started today.
We have teams waiting for you, Just serve them up!

Team Registration for Adult Leagues via TennisLink
Please note: Individual players are allowed join established teams after this deadline.
Select Championship Year 2006. For TennisLink Instructions, under USTA TennisLink choose "TennisLink HowTo (Adult, Combo & Mixed)" on the left side of this page.

Captains Play for Free: *For captains, sign up your team through TennisLink and receive your reimbursement for league fees (not including USTA membership) via mail.

Captains  will be emailed rules and TennisLink Schedule notification

League Format: Round robin format - Each team will play every team within their division at least once. Season length is dependant on the number of teams in each division...The season usually lasts 6 weeks.

Match Format - 1 singles and 3 doubles positions (2.5 leagues play 1 singles, 2doubles), best of two sets, regular scoring, set tie-break at 6-all, at 2 sets all teams will play a match tie-break (1st team to 10 by two). All USTA rules and regulations apply. Players may play in multiple leagues during the season (ex. A 3.0 player can play 3.0 and 3.5 leagues).  A complete listing of USTA League Rules and NTRP Rating Guidelines is on the PATA website under Tennis Rules, Adult League Rules.

ALL LOCAL MATCHES --Teams can choose their own home courts (Annesbrooke, Weatherstone, Brentwood, Lakeshore Estates, etc.) based on availability and their association rules.  Teams can play out of Rockdale, Newton or Walton Counties.

League Fee's: $25 (excludes USTA membership fee if required, TennisLink UserFee and Court Fees)

This is a 2006 USTA league season. Winners of each division (level) will advance to Georgia State Tournament in November 2006.
