TENNISLINK CAPTAIN LEAGUE REGISTRATION INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE
USING TENNISLINK – PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING REQUIREMENTS:

ONLY PLAYERS who
have a USTA membership number that is current through the end of the
local league season should be registered on-line.

If you NEED TO
RENEW, you MUST do that PRIOR to using TennisLink for league
registration. For maximum efficiency in renewing, you can renew on-line
at
www.usta.com. This will instantly update your membership status.

You MUST have an
approved credit card (VISA, MasterCard or American Express).

You MUST HAVE THE
TELEPHONE NUMBER of each player if you wish to register them for the team.
Note: They Can register themselves (see player instructions) after you
have gotten a team number.

You must have secured your home tennis courts and made sure that your
facility is available.
If you have met the requirements above, you are ready to begin
registration for yourself (captain) and your team.
1. Go online to
www.patatennis.com and click on TennisLink and click on "Go to
TennisLink".
2. Type in your USTA number in the yellow tennis ball with a box in the
middle and click on Go.
3. Click on the BLUE “Click here” under the bold heading of Registration
if you need to create a team number on-line.
4. Make the following selections in the first three boxes:
Section: USTA/Southern
District/Area: Georgia
Sub/Area: GA-PATA-East
Atlanta
5. Under LEAGUE, choose the appropriate league for your team (Winter
Adult, Summer Mixed, Spring Combo etc…)
6. Under FLIGHT, select the appropriate level for your team (2.5, 3.0,
3.5, 4.0, etc…)
7. Under TEAM NAME, type in Your Home Court Facility Name followed by the
CAPTAIN’S NAME (Ex. PineLog – Anna Morris)
8. Under HOME COURTS select your team’s home court tennis facility in the
drop down box. If your home court facility is Not listed in the box,
Click on OTHER FACILITY button. A Facility Locator search screen will
appear. Click on Special Search then type in first three letters of the
name of facility in the Facility Name box and choose the state of Georgia
and click Search. If the name of your home courts appears in the search
window, put your cursor on the name of the site and click once. The site
will appear in the drop box on the registration screen. If you cannot
locate your site, call your coordinator.
9. When you have been returned to the screen showing your USTA Number and
a Team Number, type in your telephone number and click on Submit. If you
are the captain please check in the box.
10. On this screen you may choose to add additional players at the same
time you add the captain’s information OR you may register only the
captain and have each player register themselves following the player
registration instructions. Note: Players must have current USTA membership # paid through the current league
season and have the USTA number ready to enter into the TennisLink
registration system. IF you need to RENEW, you MUST do that PRIOR to
using TennisLink for league registration. For maximum efficiency in
renewing, you can renew on-line at
www.usta.com. This will instantly update your membership status.
**The second player registered is the co-captain. If you do not register
the co-captain, Instruct your co-captain to register immediately after you
have done so. Then distribute the team number to players for
registration.

Once you are finished with entering players, click next step.

On the next screen for accuracy to be sure you have the correct player,
league, level and team name. If the information is correct, go to Step 3
to enter your credit card.
13. Under Step 3, enter your credit card information and click on
Continue. Be patient as your credit card is processed.
Please note: The team number you will be shown on the screen IS NOT VALID
UNTIL THE CREDIT CARD TRANSACTION IS COMPLETE!
14. Upon approval of your payment, you will be given a registration
confirmation screen. If you are not able to print the page out, WRITE
DOWN THE TEAM NUMBER as you will need this number for your team members to
register. If you are able to print, Click on Print to print out a summary
form as your confirmation of registration. If you DID NOT receive a
"Congratulations" screen with an invoice number then your team is not
registered and the team number that you have is not valid.
15. Congratulations! Your team registration is successful. If you choose
not to register your team members, give them the team number and have them
follow the directions for Player League Registration Instructions.
